Cancellations
We may allow cancellations for orders that have not yet been shipped at our discretion, minus any processing fees incurred. For faulty goods received post-delivery, you may be entitled to cancel the order and receive a full refund under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Unopened and Unused Items (Change-of-Mind Returns)
When returning items, a contact request must first be approved before you can send the items back for credit. Items returned without a prior contact request will not be eligible for credit. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return unopened and unused items.
• The product must be completely sealed and packaged as it was by the manufacturer.
• Products must contain the complete manufacturer’s contents, including but not limited to cords, nozzles, and instruction manuals. Opened or partial returns will not be accepted unless specifically authorized by Adhesive Supplies.
• Adhesive Supplies is not responsible for shipping charges incurred for returned items.
• Once we receive the items in full, a credit will be issued minus shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee.
• We will issue a credit to the original payment method or account once all the criteria of our return and refund policy are met.
Opened Items and Special Orders
Unless cleared by a staff member, Adhesive Supplies reserves the right to refuse returns of opened items, special orders, and hazardous materials for change-of-mind reasons only. This does not affect your ACL rights for faulty items, including hazardous materials, where remedies will be provided.
Returning Defective Items
In the event that a customer receives a defective item that fails to meet Australian Consumer Law guarantees (e.g., acceptable quality or fit for purpose), please contact us via our contact form to request approval for its return. We will assess the fault and provide an appropriate remedy at no additional cost to you.
• For minor faults, we will repair the item free of charge.
• For major faults, you can choose a refund, replacement, or repair (at your option).
• Return shipping charges will be reimbursed if the item is confirmed faulty.
• Defective items do not need to be returned in the original manufacturer's packaging.
• Adhesive Supplies is not responsible for damage caused during shipping, and most manufacturers' warranties do not cover damage incurred during shipping. We recommend insuring all returns for the value of the items being shipped.
Limitation of Liability for Damages to Attached Equipment
Our industrial adhesive products are designed and tested for general industrial use under normal conditions. To the maximum extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and other applicable laws, we will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages resulting from the use or application of the Products. This includes, but is not limited to, damages to attached equipment, machinery, systems, or property caused by improper application, incompatibility, or environmental factors (but not for any failure due to a defect in the Products).
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights or remedies under statutory guarantees provided by the ACL. If there's a breach of those guarantees, your remedies are limited to what's available under the ACL, such as repair, replacement, or a refund of the purchase price. For all other claims, you assume all risk of loss or damage related to integrating or using the Products with your equipment or processes. This limitation applies regardless of whether the claim is based in contract, tort, negligence, or any other legal theory, to the extent permitted by law.
